Baby is Here!

Liam Christian Webb was born October 3 at 2:55 pm. He was 7 lb. 14 oz and 20 inches long. He stayed with me all day Saturday and the nurses took him away at about 4:00 on Sunday saying that he was having breathing problems. I will write everything in more detail as I have the time, but for now, I will just write that he has pneumonia. He is doing very well now, but he can not leave the hospital until his antibiotics have run their full course. It has been really hard for me to drive to the hospital to feed him and to pump when I am not there. But the hardest part has been neglecting Kennedy and she feels it big time. She slept in my bed last night after a HUGE crying session and she woke up 3 times saying "mommy?" just to make sure that I was still there. This is killing me! I am off to the hospital to feed him now, but I will write more later. Prayers are needed and welcomed!

You have all the prayers I can say! I love you and hope you are back to normal soon. The baby is so precious and beautiful. Hopefully he will be well soon too! Kennedy will be such a great helper. I think she will settle down when he gets home with you and her.

Pneumonia??? What?! I am so sorry. I can't imagine that. Here's the loaded question...is there ANYTHING we can do for you? Really, anything. Ethan and Hailey have prayed for "Carli's baby" each time they say a prayer. I swear kids' prayers seem to be the most powerful.

I really really hope he gets out of there soon and that you can regain some normalcy. I know this is really hard on Kennedy. The good thing is she won't remember it before long. But for now I can only imagine how hard it's been for everyone :(
