Farewell
Today has been an emotional day for me. This morning, we dropped my brother, Kyle, off at the MTC for his 2 year mission to Denver. My mom and dad left this morning too. It is so sad to see everyone go after we had such a great time together. Last night, we all went out to dinner and then out for ice cream. It was fun to spend time together before Kyle left. I hope he has a great time on his mission! What makes me the most sad is that Kennedy got so used to her grammy being here that she asks for her now. I have to tell her that grammy has gone bye bye. She says "to her house?" I say yes, but I still think that she thinks she is coming back tonight. Hopefully we can see them again soon.

Random Happenings
It has been FOREVER since I have written. I have been so busy lately! Last week, I got to go to Houston to sing at my brother, Kyle's, missionary farewell. It was my first trip alone without Christian or Kennedy. Although I missed them a ton, it was a great break for me. I got to play sister instead of mommy and I had so much fun playing games, going to a movie and going out to nice meals without being interrupted by a toddler.
On Tuesday morning, my mom, brother and I flew back to Utah. Since then, we have been busy all day everyday just having fun. Here are a few things we have done
-watched Kennedy at her swim lessons (which she loves!)
- went to the aquarium
- swimming at the big pool in Lehi
- 24th of July carnival in Spanish Fork
-visited great great grandma and grandpa K
- swimming and a BBQ on the 24th
-Fireworks
- shopping spree for Kennedy at the mall
-Benihanna's
My dad and brother come into town tomorrow and we will drop my brother off at the MTC on Wednesday morning! It has been so much fun to be able to spend so much time with my family this summer.

My First Dress
I made Kennedy a dress! She LOVES Tinkerbell and I have never seen a cute Tinkerbell dress at the store. So, we found some cute fabric that she picked out and I made her one! Here are a few pictures.
This Kennedy watching a scary scene from a movie
And she got her ears pierced. She only cried for a second and she loves them! You can't see them well, but they are flowers.

We had to go on "the twain the twain" aka the monorail

Still no camera
No pictures yet, but I had to write about my birthday today before I forgot. It was seriously the BEST birthday! This morning, Christian and I went to see "The Proposal" which was so funny! Then, I came home and got ready to go to YW girls camp. I rode up with the bishop and his wife. When I got there, all the girls remembered my birthday and sang to me and gave me a card. It was so sweet! Then, we had dinner and went back to the camp site and sat around the fire. There was a HUGE thunderstorm that came through and it was really cool to watch and listen to. We sat around and bore testimonies and told everyone how much we loved them. I got a bit teary eyed and realized how lucky I am to know those sweet girls. After the meeting, we had ice cream and brownies. It was the perfect end to a great birthday. I just can not believe that I am 27. Is it just me, or does 27 sound WAY older than 26?
