Has it really been 5 whole months since I have written? How in the world does time pass so quickly! As usual, I have no idea where to start, I just know that I should start. Summer passed in a HOT blur. We did a lot of swimming to keep cool and Kennedy learned how to swim unassisted in the deep end! That was a great moment for all of us. Liam THINKS he can swim, but ended up having to be saved twice this summer. What a little dare devil! I got to go to California to celebrate my birthday with my two closest friends, Emily and Tressie. We had the best time in Santa Barbara, San Diego and at Disneyland. I was so glad that we were able to spend time together without kids. :) I got to see my family for a day as well. That was a treat since I only get to see them maybe once a year. That is the sad part about living so far away now.<br />

In the big news section of the blog, Kennedy started Kindergarten!! I have no idea how she grew up so fast! She seems to love school, but complains that it is too long. I don't blame her since kindergarten is 7 hours long here! She comes home everyday with a smile though. Kennedy also turned 5 on August 31st and had a huge party with a bounce house and a water slide. A LOT of people showed up, but she had a ton of fun. We all did actually! After the party was over, all of the adults put on their suits and had their fun on the water slide. It was pretty funny...especially when I was trying t show off and ate it pretty hard. My side is still sore from that day!<br />

Liam is almost 3. Like I said, he is a dare devil and loves to jump off of things and into things and make giant messes! He is a challenge, but really fun to be around. He is always complimenting everyone. Sometimes, he compliments on the right things like "I like your dress." Other times, he compliments on very strange things like "I like your mole." Yes, mole as in a MOLE on your skin. He is such a funny and sweet kid!
Well, I guess that is all for now. I don't want to make it so long that you will never come back and read again! And now, for a few random images from this summer! (more available at instagram!)<br />

Our Easter was super low key this year. We did not decorate eggs (my children were deprived this year), we did not go all out with gifts and things either like I have in the past. Instead, we went to a small Easter breakfast with my parents on Saturday morning and had the kids do the easter egg hunt there. It was such a beautiful day that we decided to go to the beach after that. We met up with out good friends, Jon and Tressie, and had a great time surfing and playing in the water and laying out.
The day took a horrible turn when I was rear ended by a motorcycle. My friend and I went to pick up some lunch for everyone, so it was just the two of us in my car. When I got out to ask if the guy was okay, he did not answer me. He seemed really drunk. In fact, when he tried to get back on his bike, he fell back into my car and left another huge dent. Since his bike did not start, he pushed it over to an alley way and I followed him. The cops showed up, but we both told him it was fine and we would exchange information. He gave us forms to fill out and went on his way. BIG MISTAKE!!! When the cops left, the man started getting really rude with me. He asked to take a picture of my driver license and I refused. I said "you have my insurance information. I do not feel comfortable allowing you to take a picture of my ID as well." He started getting really mean and my friend yelled at me to get in the car. She looked panicked. I started to get in the car and the guy whistled loudly and screamed something. All of the sudden, bikers and other guys stepped out. I guess my friend saw that they were closing in and that is why she screamed at me to get in the car. I got in and locked the doors when he stood in front of my car and put his hand on my hood. He then said "You better not run over me!" I saw bikers start to come up on the sides of me and I reversed as fast as I could. I was afraid for my life! I took off down the highway shaking and in shock. I have yet to get that whole situation figured out, but it was really scary. I was ready to leave the beach after that. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

On Sunday morning, the kids had a little egg hunt and opened their baskets. Later on, we had a nice, ham dinner at my mom and dad's where the kids were spoiled with more toys and goodies! Overall, it was a great weekend. If only I had not almost gotten killed. By the way, I am very happy that my car insurance card I had on me was the one from utah, so that guy does NOT have my home address. THANK GOODNESS!!!Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-81337892295859700882012-04-03T07:15:00.001-07:002012-04-03T07:15:54.802-07:00Pictures from the show<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1PSkrNvdAqRU04ZYg1MmmY9gpSsp_e0pYpBmspJYePnZ61ZXSEkTYfrTTZ5w2Pb5_7TtijRKzrwwoGmoyqAvZQnJVqBlDN9HPFeXLrE3atOt_Gc_W0njWLrRAptFsbExO998Ece9xJUnM/s1600/DSCN1444.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="320" width="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1PSkrNvdAqRU04ZYg1MmmY9gpSsp_e0pYpBmspJYePnZ61ZXSEkTYfrTTZ5w2Pb5_7TtijRKzrwwoGmoyqAvZQnJVqBlDN9HPFeXLrE3atOt_Gc_W0njWLrRAptFsbExO998Ece9xJUnM/s320/DSCN1444.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I might not work outside of the home, but my life is still pretty chaotic as of late. I find it hard to find the time to sit down! I think I may have a broken arm as I type this as well. I am going later on to have it x-rayed. It is pretty swollen and bruised looking and my fingers are numb. I have never broken a bone before, so I have no pain to compare it to. I am hoping it is not broken, but we will see.
Anyway, back to what I am blogging about. When I was growing up, my mom would always take me to see broadway shows. She would listen to broadway CD's and I would fall in love with the music. I was even known to perform in a play or two as a kid. :) That being said, the love of broadway shows has been instilled in me, and I always hoped to have children who enjoyed broadway as well. When we found out that Annie was coming, my mom and I decided that it would be fun to take Kennedy to her first show. She is already 4 years old you know! To prepare her, we watched the movie and sang the songs so that she would be excited when she saw it. All day long yesterday, she kept asking when it was time to go see Annie. She loved dressing up in her nicest dress and going downtown. During the first half, she watched and clapped and sang along. At intermission, she thought that the show was over and wanted to go home. We stayed for a couple of more songs in the second half and then left so that she could go to sleep. But, she LOVED it! I think that I loved it even more though. I can't wait until she is old enough to go and see other shows with me. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I don't really know where to begin this post. January has been good so far. We like the new friends that we have made in Texas and are growing to like it more and more (especially the warm weather). Ask me this summer if I like the weather and I will probably be dying of heat! Well, a few weeks ago, my friend asked me if I would be interested in being a hair model. I have always hated my hair. In fact, if anyone asked "what part of your body do you hate the most?" I would always say "my hair!" Needless to say, I was kind of nervous. She took a picture of me and sent it in to see if I was someone that the company would be interested in...and guess what? I was! I went in on Saturday to get my hair done by this AWESOME stylist from Los Angeles. He made me feel good by telling me that I was the perfect natural blonde and that he was excited with what he was about to do. He ended up putting not one, but 3 colors of blonde into my hair and the "color personality" of Roman Goddess. He then cut my hair and told me not to touch it or wash it so that he could do what he wanted with it for the show the next day.<div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyMUfZo784L7eFazPZ66IlhkLJfdSQ7jLhJbgBTfpcjuxfaJkJTyqE17onZ2DvnHO9Go3YOCmfN5RjBu8Vn6K-dSQwSGPm2kxv-NtJxBzLI-BcEh0nXpCyassXOYHwZYzIkdbFmE1z_gLr/s1600/after+1g.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 279px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyMUfZo784L7eFazPZ66IlhkLJfdSQ7jLhJbgBTfpcjuxfaJkJTyqE17onZ2DvnHO9Go3YOCmfN5RjBu8Vn6K-dSQwSGPm2kxv-NtJxBzLI-BcEh0nXpCyassXOYHwZYzIkdbFmE1z_gLr/s320/after+1g.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700855686613392706" /></a><br /></div><div>That night, I was feeling pretty good, so Christian and I went out with good friends to a really nice restaurant called Sorrento downtown. It was set up in curls, I was told, for a "madmen" look. I have never heard of or seen madmen, so I just assumed that it was going to be great. And, it was! I was in love with the style they gave me. I was a little nervous to try and act all confident and pose the right way, but once I got in front of lights and people, it ended up being way more fun than scary. Thanks to my husband for being with the kids by himself for 2 whole days so that I could have this experience. I am going to do it again soon!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheI45ck9qBeLjvRwXUuMm3c8cRQLLtYmjb5RpNdPST8DvSVGka8Zd1sxE-mwIFUkOJLrdx_mU0Aq7dhTDHzaWwleFUk1sq3wRSUgvZJQoPTQDnmPdfUiJk0gGoO6XUjY2ZpqTUZ0WU9bsX/s1600/working2.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 190px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheI45ck9qBeLjvRwXUuMm3c8cRQLLtYmjb5RpNdPST8DvSVGka8Zd1sxE-mwIFUkOJLrdx_mU0Aq7dhTDHzaWwleFUk1sq3wRSUgvZJQoPTQDnmPdfUiJk0gGoO6XUjY2ZpqTUZ0WU9bsX/s320/working2.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700856690786528850" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg82TQ-7Z4JjVTYsJTFxLhUeHQWB6FAOvS_tyDzY0hmNtYyQ0rzF1rRoT_VgcR0UgHM5QKG0Dlf0Qz4_ivQ-EULScvdjUW26lIRl8duYMcExKpdeC12Mh2sEEYwN_aMuOJhrgT78R49AS1H/s1600/after+the+show.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 191px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg82TQ-7Z4JjVTYsJTFxLhUeHQWB6FAOvS_tyDzY0hmNtYyQ0rzF1rRoT_VgcR0UgHM5QKG0Dlf0Qz4_ivQ-EULScvdjUW26lIRl8duYMcExKpdeC12Mh2sEEYwN_aMuOJhrgT78R49AS1H/s320/after+the+show.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700857094335056306" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXrXO6RGqaWh8dxpOslvyfBTgPoFECoQ6it_CiURXcP_MvcJN6Xg96andVJl12vWVtu91KS9AXZiN-T6-0FZx4e1868CpwXF6lJHwd4gKdgD9c4_JVSt1SaVaUCRnRhQvVA3tWOna_XSPy/s1600/aloxxi.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 145px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXrXO6RGqaWh8dxpOslvyfBTgPoFECoQ6it_CiURXcP_MvcJN6Xg96andVJl12vWVtu91KS9AXZiN-T6-0FZx4e1868CpwXF6lJHwd4gKdgD9c4_JVSt1SaVaUCRnRhQvVA3tWOna_XSPy/s320/aloxxi.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700857239040930194" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEhhTqks_PyUjLDuL9MtrZu7_TNXwSEa0GNEgH4-zBDK0BLcR-3gI522YmQuAFevu1oENwELDI1I3XWOmc9PnnfOwxtJByAr8PZlZYI0bdVpIA76K2x34kbpFwcj5AD9cfUMZ98g1a3A8e/s1600/all.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 272px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEhhTqks_PyUjLDuL9MtrZu7_TNXwSEa0GNEgH4-zBDK0BLcR-3gI522YmQuAFevu1oENwELDI1I3XWOmc9PnnfOwxtJByAr8PZlZYI0bdVpIA76K2x34kbpFwcj5AD9cfUMZ98g1a3A8e/s320/all.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700857636338682050" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfs9OjH1xKx3txwdAKDsdy0pht9tNM3fpVa_qNyX2HQ_lakWOTnociToa4UDu2nP3qfIcKaXu1N8qQYB0ZutwFRoImONiPGtsFzZkhk5G27PDejuhpuuc_62O4V_9lKgKTGIBB14zRFJIa/s1600/headshot.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfs9OjH1xKx3txwdAKDsdy0pht9tNM3fpVa_qNyX2HQ_lakWOTnociToa4UDu2nP3qfIcKaXu1N8qQYB0ZutwFRoImONiPGtsFzZkhk5G27PDejuhpuuc_62O4V_9lKgKTGIBB14zRFJIa/s320/headshot.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700857746690024322" /></a><br /><br /></div>Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-86168690634515251032012-01-23T06:41:00.000-08:002012-01-23T07:21:17.463-08:00Catch upIt has been over a month since I have written. Instead of telling every little thing that has happened, I will maybe just say the event and something about it, and then post pictures. First up, Christmas. There were way too many pictures taken on Christmas day, so I just picked a couple. Kennedy's favorite gifts were her Princess charm school barbies and her princess scooter. She has gotten really good at riding it too. Her and Liam were pretty spoiled and had so much fun opening their gifts and stockings. Liam's favorite gifts was his pack of Caillou DVD's, his ride on ATV and his tow truck. He crashed a lot trying to get a hold of the ATV and he still has a hard time riding it, but he loved it. Christmas day, we went to church with my parents and siblings, and then went back to their house for gifts and dinner and games. It was such a fun Christmas because all of us siblings were together for the first time in over 2 years!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-s-xMjVQj_p0hRU3LbkEuXBkLpk91IRJvjLjOUVwpIoVBjxnoP82uxjvOLWLT9TxVSv_PhxTcPQwQc5lwdycD5N_QSl1ECPrL_ahRdDf-HA83TlMegqQ6kkfHbWo8gVrRzYoGADqJcnvF/s1600/DSCN1089.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-s-xMjVQj_p0hRU3LbkEuXBkLpk91IRJvjLjOUVwpIoVBjxnoP82uxjvOLWLT9TxVSv_PhxTcPQwQc5lwdycD5N_QSl1ECPrL_ahRdDf-HA83TlMegqQ6kkfHbWo8gVrRzYoGADqJcnvF/s320/DSCN1089.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700842557310279170" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvxhT9wAlqmgQden4sUTppcY7qm1jIUO-ewsf9wsAeMPaBCXTzACpei47YMBn4XsEjnC9lCIWzwUSKTAo1WxXry9yOZDr6MDDqtq1wzNcN-DMKUJz43K0grUaGA83wn4E9pjMBDUDcjgZm/s1600/DSCN1080.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvxhT9wAlqmgQden4sUTppcY7qm1jIUO-ewsf9wsAeMPaBCXTzACpei47YMBn4XsEjnC9lCIWzwUSKTAo1WxXry9yOZDr6MDDqtq1wzNcN-DMKUJz43K0grUaGA83wn4E9pjMBDUDcjgZm/s320/DSCN1080.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700842923473235186" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6QkA__k8REAaMl5ayMjIUekIDKPdIzSMcYqmyKDwdgTgqZeifpqkafcBeV6cnWeGF9q8HEA7KVyRpJbh3no3ThGJT1Yo7s-1lRpyv296x6yJL0MPQa3ksE3ymwLuo4RiA7iEgp_fksyl-/s1600/DSCN1106.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6QkA__k8REAaMl5ayMjIUekIDKPdIzSMcYqmyKDwdgTgqZeifpqkafcBeV6cnWeGF9q8HEA7KVyRpJbh3no3ThGJT1Yo7s-1lRpyv296x6yJL0MPQa3ksE3ymwLuo4RiA7iEgp_fksyl-/s320/DSCN1106.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700843143203238962" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVLSQPRtmMy8mPAh0l30YA3pdRZqcgkBRRXb7u-7WSHIkyw78I4LWX1t0dbunbPHYqA81Fy2LJo0ozOEVOddTWZcxq5yQVy7EQWQiLFbPpW7NKMJ0Xza2_SRq2YG3IiIehu53GQrKIIYah/s1600/DSCN1111.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVLSQPRtmMy8mPAh0l30YA3pdRZqcgkBRRXb7u-7WSHIkyw78I4LWX1t0dbunbPHYqA81Fy2LJo0ozOEVOddTWZcxq5yQVy7EQWQiLFbPpW7NKMJ0Xza2_SRq2YG3IiIehu53GQrKIIYah/s320/DSCN1111.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700843495393374626" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2OLWGQ3HHF5izI0TbvZG3rRce5-b4lW_haWtz8oM4B_9afEvmLtwcgIVt-Wq05sxR5qRAE1FxRFaNTJMAwNsysY_aHJ_8FV7_nBvuX7ENmUzsZzVdeJeXdqB_upoWx58vvqlrSDFJ3s-2/s1600/DSCN1128.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2OLWGQ3HHF5izI0TbvZG3rRce5-b4lW_haWtz8oM4B_9afEvmLtwcgIVt-Wq05sxR5qRAE1FxRFaNTJMAwNsysY_aHJ_8FV7_nBvuX7ENmUzsZzVdeJeXdqB_upoWx58vvqlrSDFJ3s-2/s320/DSCN1128.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700843764300161314" /></a>New Year's Eve: For NYE, we decided to have a party with some close friends, our family and my sister's boyfriend. We watched the fireworks show that my parents neighborhood put on and it felt like the 4th of July. Kennedy was riding around on her scooter in the dark, we were all on camping chairs and blankets. It was such a warm, nice night out. After fireworks, we played some games, ate food, watched some "world's Dumbest" and lit some of our own fireworks. Although Kennedy fell asleep before midnight, Liam was up and ready for some sparkling cider! <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQSdl9ORwGsfzYvDJyvgmWbudh_lmmsPL_ncOyh475ahgVjAHDChVMLEKNCkr06CMobkYWVFtlr26WjYocvyMSoW6v2kKMvPkQUOBx9QgGOGEXhxXf3UoGfEWhqp4tbeXyriGFekoNtAWr/s1600/DSCN1140.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQSdl9ORwGsfzYvDJyvgmWbudh_lmmsPL_ncOyh475ahgVjAHDChVMLEKNCkr06CMobkYWVFtlr26WjYocvyMSoW6v2kKMvPkQUOBx9QgGOGEXhxXf3UoGfEWhqp4tbeXyriGFekoNtAWr/s320/DSCN1140.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700846233412876370" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxplTGIYTlTXnFmfnuPCD28v62uIqcDvvmMhenM7S5d3Y8cDGasKPVpB1vr-ZhIfOVBLx0zp_EZW8GPduiyRbiypf7GFXatIqhcppzZbJ_08d5TaWLWatHZTxcsMd8Q-hCwhrvNxvXKDD4/s1600/DSCN1155.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxplTGIYTlTXnFmfnuPCD28v62uIqcDvvmMhenM7S5d3Y8cDGasKPVpB1vr-ZhIfOVBLx0zp_EZW8GPduiyRbiypf7GFXatIqhcppzZbJ_08d5TaWLWatHZTxcsMd8Q-hCwhrvNxvXKDD4/s320/DSCN1155.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700846492238470130" /></a><br /><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Playing with some Roman candles</span><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI43c8JJavs6gQ0hJjGK5fsyzrH7Qb-4akPfqtqwJQVQCgaj0AnX5GjBr_C2iK8Oocl850nHorMeFOBbWd1drXuS2PvhBK62T_B1hMAxmCoMHcddHpzviURcyBsjWja0zicgBJZpLuF6N7/s1600/DSCN1164.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI43c8JJavs6gQ0hJjGK5fsyzrH7Qb-4akPfqtqwJQVQCgaj0AnX5GjBr_C2iK8Oocl850nHorMeFOBbWd1drXuS2PvhBK62T_B1hMAxmCoMHcddHpzviURcyBsjWja0zicgBJZpLuF6N7/s320/DSCN1164.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700846758711051314" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRwcJv0-LuS6P94hLsHsWisA2kWMLF5ZLy5TyiLrP0GREGX9ys2Y523AAsXV7XH_I1hL665VsWs_q6aQVUzoiMnmO8RIWaoRg_fab2Wr0bu7rf2J0a9sIpY0Jl8hfQhmyPMTFTP62EwPgr/s1600/DSCN1160.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRwcJv0-LuS6P94hLsHsWisA2kWMLF5ZLy5TyiLrP0GREGX9ys2Y523AAsXV7XH_I1hL665VsWs_q6aQVUzoiMnmO8RIWaoRg_fab2Wr0bu7rf2J0a9sIpY0Jl8hfQhmyPMTFTP62EwPgr/s320/DSCN1160.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700847139554887154" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSZvrLZb5UIf1ORuIX5WWW6km45BHVQEihgBKFkyLd3Nmu7WgGamks8kp9avqF8wMjv8e5MjiB9amvxJAjAN8iGwGZh_Aa8xEPPA7b1ZiqjVSj2pM27ciRH8u2nAPpMRrdnPLntkhl2BLv/s1600/DSCN1178.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSZvrLZb5UIf1ORuIX5WWW6km45BHVQEihgBKFkyLd3Nmu7WgGamks8kp9avqF8wMjv8e5MjiB9amvxJAjAN8iGwGZh_Aa8xEPPA7b1ZiqjVSj2pM27ciRH8u2nAPpMRrdnPLntkhl2BLv/s320/DSCN1178.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700847385758941138" /></a><br /><div>This post is getting way to long, so I am going to make a new one now for January!</div>Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-85337169509777410042011-12-16T06:45:00.000-08:002011-12-16T08:38:21.345-08:00Living SimplyThis morning, I was looking back on when Christian and I were first married and I thought "we sure had a lot more "stuff" back then." We had 2 working vehicles, cell phones, DVD players, TV's and all sorts of electronic stuff. I thought that coming here without a second car would be one of the hardest transitions because we have never been without 2 cars in our marriage. It has actually turned out to be the opposite! I drive Christian to the park and ride to pick up the bus downtown every day, and it works out perfectly for both of us. He does not have to sit in traffic and has time to study for his test on the bus, and I get to have the car to transport the kids around for the day. Plus, it saves on gas, insurance and registration for 2 cars, which helps out a ton! We have no sort of cable TV or satellite, no recording devices, no smart phones...and you know what? It is perfect! I thought that not watching Glee, or any of my other shows would be too much not to have, and I have not even missed them. Not one bit! I found that I have more time to appreciate the little things in my life and more time to play with my kids. In 8 short months, Kennedy will start full day Kindergarten, and I will not have this time with her any more. I am blessed to be able to stay home and to spend this time with my kids. Even though I might get overwhelmed sometimes and wish for my children to grow up, deep down, I know it is already happening. And way too fast! I am not saying that we will never have cable, or smart phones or all of that "stuff", but for now, I am perfectly content and happy to not have those things.Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-28543917694679985722011-12-12T06:36:00.001-08:002011-12-12T10:34:08.824-08:00Winter in Texas<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ0X8JMCD4Z8acTnqxzfm6bcjs-35mx-lfd3ZdO8toJ9NdhgEiGl6_yW5Vk1oE2erKyMOblQFQGO5bcfNssslVdI5vSiWsso7NGaNUo02EhsNzxhr3qWVsXJOt5BVzuepijSGH2cVMjoRM/s1600/V1102Bridgeland-121-1.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 212px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ0X8JMCD4Z8acTnqxzfm6bcjs-35mx-lfd3ZdO8toJ9NdhgEiGl6_yW5Vk1oE2erKyMOblQFQGO5bcfNssslVdI5vSiWsso7NGaNUo02EhsNzxhr3qWVsXJOt5BVzuepijSGH2cVMjoRM/s320/V1102Bridgeland-121-1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5685268458973420434" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKVYoV-5MCKn2xPX6Beds3Cg0BaoQnDwJ-x6Y0AOQO44_jv4I7UyEyU8I_6tZDf1IgY02jeF05s432DhEaQ-WsNv0ktOPeWVQHbWcCoZsE3m9kvI-XSUWe2eWVkKJxx6Q7_9xNXCZdcrrI/s1600/DSCN1029.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKVYoV-5MCKn2xPX6Beds3Cg0BaoQnDwJ-x6Y0AOQO44_jv4I7UyEyU8I_6tZDf1IgY02jeF05s432DhEaQ-WsNv0ktOPeWVQHbWcCoZsE3m9kvI-XSUWe2eWVkKJxx6Q7_9xNXCZdcrrI/s320/DSCN1029.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5685257135764322018" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyuFeyG5WxEEKcaJvxAuSoU-4y6TX-_YZZ_NleYDXUH92hbHNBHPGDiHIAzyWBT7w9zf67E22A563JijU6KWJvshKk_9rg5orDTBkxGAHlJxyqhslNSx5UJbN6hsHquVICXiocvIa17UGj/s1600/DSCN1030.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyuFeyG5WxEEKcaJvxAuSoU-4y6TX-_YZZ_NleYDXUH92hbHNBHPGDiHIAzyWBT7w9zf67E22A563JijU6KWJvshKk_9rg5orDTBkxGAHlJxyqhslNSx5UJbN6hsHquVICXiocvIa17UGj/s320/DSCN1030.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5685258013846924770" /></a><br />I have decided that it would take WAY too much time to catch up on everything that has happened in the past few months, but they have been busy, fun and full of good stuff! First off, Christian got a great job downtown! We are really excited about it for a few reasons, but mostly because they they are going to pay for him to finish his certification! It seems like a great company and Christian loves it. Kennedy has been doing much better at adjusting to her new surroundings here, but she has been really sad that it does not snow here! She even asked Santa for snow so that she can go sledding! Well, we found out that my mom's awesome neighborhood was bringing in snow for their Christmas carnival! I had to take the kids. When Kennedy saw the snow, she threw on her gloves and her beanie, and jumped right in making snowballs and slipping and sliding! It was great to see her so happy! Liam had fun on the train ride as well. There was something for everyone!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEVyCi_g9_7xFfTcgvRLuyIeCDuADyPs-leLF1DrbtuRtqUFK_kgliNQQDdaFcUUTk9pPpcnbHvzyn-gMf_eo9DLu_a3GbPyifZFRsZCtBjobPjfm4O-ltoWNjmVx5Px-FJomNt7FkSoc2/s1600/DSCN1042.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEVyCi_g9_7xFfTcgvRLuyIeCDuADyPs-leLF1DrbtuRtqUFK_kgliNQQDdaFcUUTk9pPpcnbHvzyn-gMf_eo9DLu_a3GbPyifZFRsZCtBjobPjfm4O-ltoWNjmVx5Px-FJomNt7FkSoc2/s320/DSCN1042.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5685257474717150034" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAg_jUt3Rz07yV33YyLnA9cUANXkmFvK0Tx1as_jpgo8A5SvNyZcFA6nizbauDFIyWvFpaEX6m0nw0ANiUM41gT-W831yk0hv-Ix0ayAmRoewegs3HXIBeKQrq-STuxVB9S522RCpMkKAB/s1600/DSCN1045.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAg_jUt3Rz07yV33YyLnA9cUANXkmFvK0Tx1as_jpgo8A5SvNyZcFA6nizbauDFIyWvFpaEX6m0nw0ANiUM41gT-W831yk0hv-Ix0ayAmRoewegs3HXIBeKQrq-STuxVB9S522RCpMkKAB/s320/DSCN1045.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5685260461308129810" /></a><br /><br />After the carnival, we went to our church Christmas party. Kennedy found her "boyfriend", and they took off dancing. There was Santa, food and a band. Between all of the Christmas parties and going to see the play "White Christmas" with my mom, I am really in the Christmas mood. I don't need snow for it to be Christmas. I grew up my whole life between here and California, so I never had white Christmases. It does not mean that there is any less Christmas spirit around here!<br /><br />To end this post, I am just going to write a few things about the kids so that I don't forget. I have just been so busy lately. Especially with Thanksgiving and family and all of that fun stuff. I still have a lot to post about, but I am not even on my own computer and therefore, I can not post with the pictures. I will post again very soon about everything. Maybe even tomorrow. With that, I will leave you with a picture of the fabulous Turkey veggie tray I made for Thanksgiving...Thank you Pinterest!!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5TfPLnGKHfelX3gB7sO3IxyuyVxssLjxwU0jB34b88RQsoAq4MWMezDGo2f4603r95oyxV_kTkD6ox5WkYu_MdZWiTHr4w7EskgOCnqz1l-ddAKpsy0E1N3N08Iu-bu6pxtIYP38yDTqv/s1600/IMAG2279-1.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 191px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5TfPLnGKHfelX3gB7sO3IxyuyVxssLjxwU0jB34b88RQsoAq4MWMezDGo2f4603r95oyxV_kTkD6ox5WkYu_MdZWiTHr4w7EskgOCnqz1l-ddAKpsy0E1N3N08Iu-bu6pxtIYP38yDTqv/s320/IMAG2279-1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5679838858132097138" /></a>Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-53143531920896776012011-11-16T21:25:00.000-08:002011-11-16T21:32:25.322-08:00Girls Time<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIkF4giFcElHJWTbLrOx5CCfxVqemweK0NzCheTXsmczwWNpqSn5V4PORIAAsGbsiOIpCYGVsoP7R-uPVnLGu7YAWQXs4OCR5G0JY6nQM2Cyx4gp1tiaDpBHAdLDh5NAO-XAPuB044qQAf/s1600/DSCN1002-1.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 162px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIkF4giFcElHJWTbLrOx5CCfxVqemweK0NzCheTXsmczwWNpqSn5V4PORIAAsGbsiOIpCYGVsoP7R-uPVnLGu7YAWQXs4OCR5G0JY6nQM2Cyx4gp1tiaDpBHAdLDh5NAO-XAPuB044qQAf/s320/DSCN1002-1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5675833029162580162" /></a><br />Kennedy is so helpful these days...when she is not whining! She always gets diapers for me, she loves to help cook and do dishes, and she loves to do crafts with mom. Today, we made a fun little wood craft that was a pilgrim on the front, and Frankenstein on the back. Kennedy helped me to paint the wood, modge podge the paper on, and stick the vinyl on as well. She loved it so much that I need to look for some new crafts to do with her. It is so fun to see her enjoy herself and listen to her talk to me about things while we sit together and work on something. Today, she told me that she is going to ask santa for "SNOW for Christmas." I don't think he will deliver that, but you never know, right? And, I have no new pictures. I just felt like writing today, because, well, I had a really good day. I did not have a good day because I did anything great. I did not have a good day because something amazing happened to me. I did not have a good day because someone did something nice for me. I had a good day because I CHOSE to have a good day. I woke up his morning and the fall air was cool and perfect. I took my kids to the park and played with them and pushed them on the swings. I met some mom's and decided that I love the Texas people and how nice and accepting they are. I drove by my mom's school and surprised her with her grandchildren. We talked and had some snacks from the snack machine and decided to do something fun tomorrow! I came home, had a little nap while the kids slept and woke up rejuvenated and happy. I just text some friends to meet me for dinner and I am excited about that! Life really is what you make of it. Crappy things happen, things don't always go as expected, but having a bad attitude never made anything any better. I'm not saying I can't or won't have bad days, but as for today, I feel good...content...happy! The End!</div></div>Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-38500352860345952232011-10-31T12:54:00.000-07:002011-10-31T13:18:51.553-07:00Halloween Fun<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFznmptBD1wex5_5QqfCDdAxVgzOsXAcVaemE4OVTuwjIZpVmyoxl6nyoWZZb6c29CmBFuwMZfCmbVLVJf83pvfJAn45sNoTCBbPp89s4TZ2tt6lgmKiz2EwYUdIzPW_k8XQWFc5m6Bpji/s1600/DSCN0929.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 278px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFznmptBD1wex5_5QqfCDdAxVgzOsXAcVaemE4OVTuwjIZpVmyoxl6nyoWZZb6c29CmBFuwMZfCmbVLVJf83pvfJAn45sNoTCBbPp89s4TZ2tt6lgmKiz2EwYUdIzPW_k8XQWFc5m6Bpji/s320/DSCN0929.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5669749654097437650" /></a><br />We have not even gone trick or treating yet, and already, the kids have baskets full of candy! We went to 3, yes 3 Halloween parties on Saturday, and the kids could not have had more fun! (okay, I admit that I had fun too.) This year, Kennedy decided to be Esmerelda from Hunchback. My mom made her an amazing costume and Kennedy loves it. Liam, having second child syndrome, had not costume until I made his one out of his old clothes. I cut up and old shirt and pants, covered it in makeup and blood, and turned him into a zombie. I think it turned out pretty cute!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjbFJBQmBKzoScR0OpAI_zuXSIF5EvlibWkbzi01cYFQDUsi0OTczjoYpekNBno9FAor9Mr_z4BObFX6nTLC53-Y7551ASYFkvRYQMFEDj0aLrzCCqajwViGYe1IyxX9jBQGZjTXccmmap/s1600/DSCN0949.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjbFJBQmBKzoScR0OpAI_zuXSIF5EvlibWkbzi01cYFQDUsi0OTczjoYpekNBno9FAor9Mr_z4BObFX6nTLC53-Y7551ASYFkvRYQMFEDj0aLrzCCqajwViGYe1IyxX9jBQGZjTXccmmap/s320/DSCN0949.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5669750533170003954" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2SmnBVv7PXG8t2P24F8Tkk-0Ejr3NGj6rEndkEX_EHttScXCVKFfmkRShzqhibokR0fDjmGyVGUy82Fu8GoBhjcEyHAkZf4MpbvujbhmgPx7OU4c_uOWYpo8XOEgZdX0sagR830rUScEP/s1600/DSCN0953.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2SmnBVv7PXG8t2P24F8Tkk-0Ejr3NGj6rEndkEX_EHttScXCVKFfmkRShzqhibokR0fDjmGyVGUy82Fu8GoBhjcEyHAkZf4MpbvujbhmgPx7OU4c_uOWYpo8XOEgZdX0sagR830rUScEP/s320/DSCN0953.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5669750780467948258" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYs8CLApYRS1A5ehYP8RvM6MXpzmmeyRBzEhElqYaovS3-6YFpoVMu5Fa8RRTM6iaEOBmSLhakgkNBslNgDnAN5O2mJwNo7MiwHURg0GdnXPNYDBtyvHrvygG1DuiT3bahha7_pkvNLf_n/s1600/DSCN0956.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYs8CLApYRS1A5ehYP8RvM6MXpzmmeyRBzEhElqYaovS3-6YFpoVMu5Fa8RRTM6iaEOBmSLhakgkNBslNgDnAN5O2mJwNo7MiwHURg0GdnXPNYDBtyvHrvygG1DuiT3bahha7_pkvNLf_n/s320/DSCN0956.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5669751113066997170" /></a><br />The kids had a blast trunk or treating at the church parties. I feel like I am going insane! What I clean, gets messy 5 minutes later. Laundry is never ending. Dishes are never ending. Bills are never ending. Screaming, fighting children echo throughout my house. I am not writing this to complain. Just to vent. It is one of those days...strike that...one of those weeks. I have cleaned, and cooked and tried to provide fun activities for my family, but things just seem overwhelming at the moment. RIght now, my 4 year old just screamed at me at the top of her lungs "I HAVE SNOT! WIPE IT!" Both kids have croup. It sounds and smells like a hospital in here. Liam just dumped a monopoly game all over the floor. I feel like I am coming down with something as well. I need a pedicure...and a massage before I rip every stand of hair from my head! People who say that being a stay at home mom is not work needs to be in my shoes right now!!! Anyone want to trade places for the day? Call me if you do, and I'm sure we can arrange something. If you see my children for sale on ebay later, please do not judge me!Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-23322493081687024632011-10-24T19:42:00.000-07:002011-10-25T09:07:34.426-07:00Family Fright Night<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO4yG82U-PHOO7V5ioF02Nn6hj00Sv1_R5k3VUgyeVmBqklNxPl4kIQxN4oxnH2piTF52G3DjkRjFTF_tje7NVqRvtlvExHLoqzzl2beTp3ByvT_UiALT85PvaHNsQHpdwVEeSUPq9E-vE/s1600/DSCN0900.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO4yG82U-PHOO7V5ioF02Nn6hj00Sv1_R5k3VUgyeVmBqklNxPl4kIQxN4oxnH2piTF52G3DjkRjFTF_tje7NVqRvtlvExHLoqzzl2beTp3ByvT_UiALT85PvaHNsQHpdwVEeSUPq9E-vE/s400/DSCN0900.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667448346969298450" /></a>For our family night tonight, we decided to get into the Halloween spirit! My mom brought over a ton of fun decorations for the front of our house and we made our house look really "spooky", as Kennedy put it. In fact, she said, "I LOVE this house. This will be the BEST Halloween ever!" It was so cute to see her get all excited about something, because she has seemed really sad and depressed lately. She is missing her friends and family in Utah a lot!<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp3OIPK3bm4jfHlZ-yzM10lIWwJZcrK5AdVUbDoD3aNCOnOB6wflp_qxNWw2MDOeJlvi03eOgM7y0zKbsykONgqy8eVlZeo6akH25KsmmS9sYx3r14nC9WSDGx4yr1ABK2zLDEL2dfGiUU/s1600/DSCN0901.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp3OIPK3bm4jfHlZ-yzM10lIWwJZcrK5AdVUbDoD3aNCOnOB6wflp_qxNWw2MDOeJlvi03eOgM7y0zKbsykONgqy8eVlZeo6akH25KsmmS9sYx3r14nC9WSDGx4yr1ABK2zLDEL2dfGiUU/s400/DSCN0901.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667448496468519090" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcbC5oX8-6Lx1NOF3TQWG-qrx4dsMYfxVoFS6mBNcEjKYmpk0K1RDcsbWgs7eiw4AbMkCtpOCMI4twxeG9eaoJhZdrWUY-_Z7-UAFELugDMJXp3I-1y2Ra7BTk8-2h7KieaIxYZVKo1dP-/s1600/DSCN0903.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 310px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcbC5oX8-6Lx1NOF3TQWG-qrx4dsMYfxVoFS6mBNcEjKYmpk0K1RDcsbWgs7eiw4AbMkCtpOCMI4twxeG9eaoJhZdrWUY-_Z7-UAFELugDMJXp3I-1y2Ra7BTk8-2h7KieaIxYZVKo1dP-/s400/DSCN0903.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667448701729116130" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpGGNAlViW7EmfLu-1-oKnUQTJfk2iwPMOFa0jvfc74d9ZtBBuWCNvGkSxX7DBFDV7rDsg0HsAJ6c_rcEO2igZVRg80uDeE7vF0n3MG021plynQFymXpunpW_alzdN02DtmVlulD55k2x7/s1600/DSCN0895.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpGGNAlViW7EmfLu-1-oKnUQTJfk2iwPMOFa0jvfc74d9ZtBBuWCNvGkSxX7DBFDV7rDsg0HsAJ6c_rcEO2igZVRg80uDeE7vF0n3MG021plynQFymXpunpW_alzdN02DtmVlulD55k2x7/s400/DSCN0895.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667448903310280642" /></a><br /></div><div>After we decorated, we carved our pumpkin (as the grim reaper) and ate Halloween cookies. I am going to post a video below of some of our decorations. And just for your information, when I ask Kennedy what she is going to be for Halloween, she is saying "Esmerelda" from The Hunchback of Notre Dam. Lately, life has been confusing/exciting/scary/unpredictable/sad and crazy! And although things have been improving day by day (Christian getting a job and our family growing closer), some things are still tough. I have been thinking a lot about the word "regret" lately. I think as human beings, it is easy to make a mistake and then say "I regret ever doing that". At least I think that sometimes. But, I am realizing as of late that I don't really regret anything because without all of my mistakes and life experiences, I would not learn from them and be the person that I am today. I know who I am and what I am capable of. I know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me no matter what I do, just like I will love my daughter no matter what she does. Actions/mistakes do not define me. I was reading a book this morning called "Greater Things" by Jeffery R. Holland and I read this "God doesn't care nearly as much about where you have been as he does about where you are, and, with his help, where you are WILLING to go." That really touched me because he is saying that no matter what you have done in the past, you can fix it and continue down the right path. <br /><br />I am not even going to apologize if I have been boring for anyone else, because I am writing this mostly for me. But, if I happen to help anyone else that happens to be reading this, that would be great as well. One more quote from this amazing book and then I will be done. <br /><br />"In seeking true peace we need to improve what has to be improved, confess what needs to be confessed, forgive what needs to be forgiven, and forget what should be forgotten in order that serenity can come to us."<br /><br />I believe that to be true.Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-7282711328596155312011-10-15T19:33:00.000-07:002011-10-15T19:52:59.261-07:00Some Texas Happenings<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi-EBX2xNO-XCoP41YBDnSRQoppxMJXPIZtO1UxM1Zyq_xZG-iSL378s9OB1O3PpSqcB9oLYOgUAWSumdP09XWpVdILY35ZaxeO0V9_tA_5WQcR9WR5VE8dBnQeyRvKp1PrxmK3UvHUobM/s1600/296262_10150314433147315_591232314_8374273_1495093846_n.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 299px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi-EBX2xNO-XCoP41YBDnSRQoppxMJXPIZtO1UxM1Zyq_xZG-iSL378s9OB1O3PpSqcB9oLYOgUAWSumdP09XWpVdILY35ZaxeO0V9_tA_5WQcR9WR5VE8dBnQeyRvKp1PrxmK3UvHUobM/s400/296262_10150314433147315_591232314_8374273_1495093846_n.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5663916885163924498" /></a><br />So, life has been getting better and better. Christian got a job as an IT tech at a company called Talisman Energy. He is really excited about the job and I am really excited that I can finally put Kennedy into school now! The kids love my parent's neighborhood because it has lakes, bridges, animals and tons of parks. We go there a few times a week for them to play. The weather has been fantastic, so today, we ventured out to the beach with Christian's family who came to visit this week. We all had a lot of fun playing in the water, catching clams and building sand castles. We need to go again before it gets cooler. (haha, cooler. nothing sounds cold to me coming from Utah).<div><br /> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcCBR_0ppP-XF72IomPR65TkWnnts2uj9VawQwshRFkG5iJYmhbk5SDF3suLL5ovbEWSFexU2x4Uuob5Wl6bvo5qgTV5N7oU4xdrGIZ5g_3DgCpXtXQKtTgSNxcNP5P_Jhyphenhyphen19jrG6KjFcW/s1600/299540_10150314433762315_591232314_8374275_717488281_n.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 299px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcCBR_0ppP-XF72IomPR65TkWnnts2uj9VawQwshRFkG5iJYmhbk5SDF3suLL5ovbEWSFexU2x4Uuob5Wl6bvo5qgTV5N7oU4xdrGIZ5g_3DgCpXtXQKtTgSNxcNP5P_Jhyphenhyphen19jrG6KjFcW/s400/299540_10150314433762315_591232314_8374275_717488281_n.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5663916971417553554" /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcNiuygGZkfJpD8-NwYH7LhKpKR2f7QAno35Y9gIjFyjiEJkTL3qTi07I_QnWy8b1j9Oz7PcrynnnXeb4fegtx-JYwc_1Ii4PViQqMEnJ4dKxe6YVXa4vgmZhL-FEesI8RQeEeZvcGgazb/s1600/298222_10150314431092315_591232314_8374258_1223894049_n.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 299px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcNiuygGZkfJpD8-NwYH7LhKpKR2f7QAno35Y9gIjFyjiEJkTL3qTi07I_QnWy8b1j9Oz7PcrynnnXeb4fegtx-JYwc_1Ii4PViQqMEnJ4dKxe6YVXa4vgmZhL-FEesI8RQeEeZvcGgazb/s400/298222_10150314431092315_591232314_8374258_1223894049_n.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5663917304689157282" /></a><br />We also visited some outlet malls, ate at Rainforest Cafe and drove the back roads to see the Texas longhorns and wild pigs. Here are a few things that I have learned from 7 years of marriage<span style="font-style: italic;">.</span><br />1. You don't always get what you want...but somehow, it works its way out.<br />2. Two is better than one when it comes to raising children. Especially OUR children. We were joking the other day that if we were ever to get divorced, no one would ever love our children the way we do because they are SO HARD to handle sometimes.<br />3. Late night massages can make all things seem better.<br />4. Life is hard...like, REALLY hard. And sometimes it seems like there is no way that marriage will last. BUT, there is always hope if you choose to have it. And things CAN get better.<br />5. It's nice to always have a date when you need one. I HATED that part of being single!<br />6. I have a husband that would do ANYTHING for me. If I am thirsty at 3 am (like I was last night) he will get up and get me a drink. If my neck has a pinched nerve (like I had last night), he will massage it until I tell him to stop. If the kids wake up in the middle of the night, he always goes to comfort them so that I can sleep more. And, he is trying hard to improve things every day.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU_U4t-cUuLkWk66Ejl8EV0uiPN39wwIzt1BdrfR1NyfGmi4cfa1SfYk8Dg-v2HnOG1hopImybAvWXXBRqVCbjpD6wM_dqVYNJeGXxy6LY5bCu0ngSdSObmIt4YSYGKmnAqm1TNrP1Q2_w/s1600/IMG_1319.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 299px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU_U4t-cUuLkWk66Ejl8EV0uiPN39wwIzt1BdrfR1NyfGmi4cfa1SfYk8Dg-v2HnOG1hopImybAvWXXBRqVCbjpD6wM_dqVYNJeGXxy6LY5bCu0ngSdSObmIt4YSYGKmnAqm1TNrP1Q2_w/s400/IMG_1319.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5661569633048798194" border="0" /></a><br />Just like every marriage, we have had our share of problems. I won't act like everything has been perfect, because it has been far from that. Sometimes we fight. We don't agree on things a lot of the time. Sometimes we do or say things that we shouldn't. And I have not been the best of wives lately either. That being said, we have been through so much together. We have been through 6 moves in 7 years, sick children, hospital visits, illnesses, vacations, times of prosperity, and times of hardship. We have seen each other at our very best and our very worst. But, we are still together and are still learning from past mistakes and problems. These past 7 years have not been perfect, but we have had many moments of great joy like when our children were born. And there is no one else that I can ever share those moments with.<br /><br />Happy Anniversary Christian! <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhgrBMRsUOCP01_fuiyfXXbPfv8gBVSmXUG2N_O-b_tPd9f1wi4faPEQWkuGjWu9xl0Qc-O-PTmx8Ut2e6DRUogr8I3cbV0gg_4DQ1UUdEbOjMVEuJDEX8rMomGeiMF2LZyky_12tOE9YP/s1600/IMG_1320.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 299px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhgrBMRsUOCP01_fuiyfXXbPfv8gBVSmXUG2N_O-b_tPd9f1wi4faPEQWkuGjWu9xl0Qc-O-PTmx8Ut2e6DRUogr8I3cbV0gg_4DQ1UUdEbOjMVEuJDEX8rMomGeiMF2LZyky_12tOE9YP/s400/IMG_1320.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5661567275633302898" border="0" /></a><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-size:85%;">Our good friends, Tressie and Jon</span></span>. <span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-size:85%;">Thanks for treating us to cheesecake!</span></span><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh22BzAXxv4YnW_Qi3YFS8iFh-SVxyZbdcE2VXwMyqXYrvuUI8Tzcx9jsRu0EYL6wBXMpIwE3_o4aRXofp9cgjPki2YCEMhJQl8HFqGrhb-sJpU-0JLNZNokjHxQNQHkHksQG_sZajTMEqe/s1600/IMG_1309.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 299px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh22BzAXxv4YnW_Qi3YFS8iFh-SVxyZbdcE2VXwMyqXYrvuUI8Tzcx9jsRu0EYL6wBXMpIwE3_o4aRXofp9cgjPki2YCEMhJQl8HFqGrhb-sJpU-0JLNZNokjHxQNQHkHksQG_sZajTMEqe/s400/IMG_1309.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5661566459800353218" border="0" /></a></span></span><span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-size:85%;">My beautiful and equally delicious dinner!</span></span><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1oD-FLHfs7zflavM7SWGq9BYd6bcpMOONCg-KHtbxKQcI_o1KKP3wK4UuzJtbErcGbpiIVRSf0WtGLCBheQ5LaZtzLX5ONM9yrqLO4fw6j3mfAQDASGzHVTr6f8Lnnx_JXEhYry1Azuir/s1600/IMG_1300.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 299px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1oD-FLHfs7zflavM7SWGq9BYd6bcpMOONCg-KHtbxKQcI_o1KKP3wK4UuzJtbErcGbpiIVRSf0WtGLCBheQ5LaZtzLX5ONM9yrqLO4fw6j3mfAQDASGzHVTr6f8Lnnx_JXEhYry1Azuir/s400/IMG_1300.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5661565813676244162" border="0" /></a>Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-50410801551441568062011-10-06T06:40:00.000-07:002011-10-06T14:34:04.869-07:00The Grand Canyon post<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8JiFIEoy7UVAaL18CAmukPssjRwUtrbGTbxrwlTuSpAFg24PrzrJLrgTCyRNymS1lZyOjBPxIYDEOuXlRXHSUIeS129lSKsJ1AaQbHfRQgXY6Pv-pgy7pQG7JRP1FU4CoBIMX7mFoMYmL/s1600/DSCN0418.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8JiFIEoy7UVAaL18CAmukPssjRwUtrbGTbxrwlTuSpAFg24PrzrJLrgTCyRNymS1lZyOjBPxIYDEOuXlRXHSUIeS129lSKsJ1AaQbHfRQgXY6Pv-pgy7pQG7JRP1FU4CoBIMX7mFoMYmL/s400/DSCN0418.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660486161109187682" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtGminnJ9x3L0nY_eumCZn1UQ1glzflNUzcnOOtNFTm1ushzXzdhkUcPzAin0h2F7BhRUzsHyK7NsuGvYnIhA1e0gzXoPqDVTAAMqNOVMSzryPX3MrXBJJwOBar4Rh3PqN4ReNupiAALT0/s1600/DSCN0389.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtGminnJ9x3L0nY_eumCZn1UQ1glzflNUzcnOOtNFTm1ushzXzdhkUcPzAin0h2F7BhRUzsHyK7NsuGvYnIhA1e0gzXoPqDVTAAMqNOVMSzryPX3MrXBJJwOBar4Rh3PqN4ReNupiAALT0/s400/DSCN0389.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660381383125249730" /></a><br /><br />Back in August, we had our big family vacation. I already posted about our vegas and Lake Powell leg of the trip, but I never posted about the grand canyon. So, here it is. After we left the house boat at Lake Powell, we drove over to the grand canyon. I had not been there since I was a kid, and I was able to enjoy it and appreciate it much more this time around. No, we did not camp (for those of you who know me, I pretty much hate camping) but we stayed at a hotel in a Tusayan on the south rim. It was such a cute little town with lots of restaurants and shops.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh58VzrywYOH8vmD2E8b9LGcgeS7Syrp2Jz0_bG3z2YRaZQs5ddMkGeBeA3JwxI2ce6fjmXiMVMN-rjUv3PXfb8Uns5lLbCrQ4GAP2CNlBNx2ZwtUCUaPT_1Z3Dt72WVsFoyaiUQbgBtEPN/s1600/DSCN0477.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh58VzrywYOH8vmD2E8b9LGcgeS7Syrp2Jz0_bG3z2YRaZQs5ddMkGeBeA3JwxI2ce6fjmXiMVMN-rjUv3PXfb8Uns5lLbCrQ4GAP2CNlBNx2ZwtUCUaPT_1Z3Dt72WVsFoyaiUQbgBtEPN/s400/DSCN0477.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660381750422828930" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAjldoAzgUkVQTSxpqOhwGxfQVfWzZVop8BBGD0PMlMZySKgO2N4oMHgAXGp6s3fdCPDGbiUnx7F_XGjqeubJwqzhPnU8PI51oifbhaJGjCcycs_zScZOUJGO8rXlgV66Vzacn5NB05E_O/s1600/DSCN0362.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 221px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAjldoAzgUkVQTSxpqOhwGxfQVfWzZVop8BBGD0PMlMZySKgO2N4oMHgAXGp6s3fdCPDGbiUnx7F_XGjqeubJwqzhPnU8PI51oifbhaJGjCcycs_zScZOUJGO8rXlgV66Vzacn5NB05E_O/s400/DSCN0362.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660383330380290018" /></a><br /><br />I thought this nightgown would look SUPER hot on me. After lunch, we went for a little hike down the canyon. I let the kids sleep in the car with my mom, for fear that they would fall over the edge. It was so beautiful and amazing to see! It does not even look good in the pictures that I took. You have to see it for yourself to get the true effect. That night, we went on a horse/hay ride down to a fire pit. There, we cooked hot dogs and s'mores and had a great time.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX7wUjp64nIgv1Fbtw2udA6oIPhmGExp3GL5v5Y56EgQ6eFl0wZvttZnueHZ1BPZXIsuLN_6byqUyJxGSjafh0lSKreRwLqd25j_9NdROOgPfoNKX_LbnYs06j1JgEHBZfH3mNbQXd1JbE/s1600/DSCN0397.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX7wUjp64nIgv1Fbtw2udA6oIPhmGExp3GL5v5Y56EgQ6eFl0wZvttZnueHZ1BPZXIsuLN_6byqUyJxGSjafh0lSKreRwLqd25j_9NdROOgPfoNKX_LbnYs06j1JgEHBZfH3mNbQXd1JbE/s400/DSCN0397.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660384304278659282" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG_vxA5Yw-wJ-jW6rHb4tST9MNyZqGdRnzJEeHc137FI7_tQHb_F4Rx5zz_LQXRA-FMLwEt4gXtWkBtGiMLVSLez0m2ajNS8n3B8z_QGeU1z_RvYxFLzQ8gs0_tIdIQ5C616367s_40hhB/s1600/DSCN0403.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiG_vxA5Yw-wJ-jW6rHb4tST9MNyZqGdRnzJEeHc137FI7_tQHb_F4Rx5zz_LQXRA-FMLwEt4gXtWkBtGiMLVSLez0m2ajNS8n3B8z_QGeU1z_RvYxFLzQ8gs0_tIdIQ5C616367s_40hhB/s400/DSCN0403.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660384651880101378" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>The next day, we went to the town of Williams. I am really into route 66 towns. In fact, one of my dreams is to take the old route 66 road all the way from Chicago to California. Maybe someday! Williams was such a cute town and reminded me of the movie, Cars. There were old cars getting lined up for the car show, people sitting out on the porches of the shops and cute little diners. I loved it and wish that we could have stayed longer. Too bad I enjoyed it more than everyone else and was outvoted to leave early.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN6rFRBZ-4J8JxMKYhDVk9J2hibhv7XKn5EXct-12M7K3kyOXsoHWFj8Z60swWbu-G9MSR0UiGli7Ue-K_5VWJKi0H86yo5ZsFNJgB4Q58u1eD8qX0hcf8K8fJSgojpt8hLlMeAem0o-BI/s1600/DSCN0482.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 340px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN6rFRBZ-4J8JxMKYhDVk9J2hibhv7XKn5EXct-12M7K3kyOXsoHWFj8Z60swWbu-G9MSR0UiGli7Ue-K_5VWJKi0H86yo5ZsFNJgB4Q58u1eD8qX0hcf8K8fJSgojpt8hLlMeAem0o-BI/s400/DSCN0482.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660384911668420226" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuofnK8le909GReLk9M9f3oOTNTRu5SeOFn7C6wylO5D1P_UEgU-OUk5o6NjTT-m7FPUD22AGrR1EamdmZhLbefmW_S1z-rr_dSP31TsIZrf0k7aR05WqxXJqQs_vnQ0qD9KjuSYJNsKdy/s1600/DSCN0450.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuofnK8le909GReLk9M9f3oOTNTRu5SeOFn7C6wylO5D1P_UEgU-OUk5o6NjTT-m7FPUD22AGrR1EamdmZhLbefmW_S1z-rr_dSP31TsIZrf0k7aR05WqxXJqQs_vnQ0qD9KjuSYJNsKdy/s400/DSCN0450.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660385158035612962" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZTPV91Vvbvy_mhte43_2dI61b-qqyl7vVTVwmBRsHDis2c8WiiTo_YR-ZQjXTuKaC4Ts8fHNZZJtm-SiwHgM_AWwH-kLtQrNZcqZGOIjU-1dfzNe_gfckK31ysIbPS2U7UrPZ_rlhfEu4/s1600/DSCN0426.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZTPV91Vvbvy_mhte43_2dI61b-qqyl7vVTVwmBRsHDis2c8WiiTo_YR-ZQjXTuKaC4Ts8fHNZZJtm-SiwHgM_AWwH-kLtQrNZcqZGOIjU-1dfzNe_gfckK31ysIbPS2U7UrPZ_rlhfEu4/s400/DSCN0426.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660385963506995250" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtvLVVIXt64iKH22SaEOFUWqAwoPML0HscYLxAj_i4IqpiwXsvI5zeexPhBfzSNv9ww1If8jCFfvkUPWPD5AtdLa5DcF6SS6pdwqnPkOZzaKuldRFkjwe__lusayDk2Np4gOs6I8KiM1g2/s1600/DSCN0431.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtvLVVIXt64iKH22SaEOFUWqAwoPML0HscYLxAj_i4IqpiwXsvI5zeexPhBfzSNv9ww1If8jCFfvkUPWPD5AtdLa5DcF6SS6pdwqnPkOZzaKuldRFkjwe__lusayDk2Np4gOs6I8KiM1g2/s400/DSCN0431.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660386260348505746" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGyuCDkrExpihIe7oJPPJaGG0D_uVHy6KGA9KGTZQmekmOAMcZ7QpoBG46sNZiaVeRLWeGsF2PEuSEIyq0QZkohWO6pIj6JHBCYAOIjE4nJYfY2RI6H5hnjT4CIIP1AQ-F_q8DDeNM_Yac/s1600/DSCN0432.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGyuCDkrExpihIe7oJPPJaGG0D_uVHy6KGA9KGTZQmekmOAMcZ7QpoBG46sNZiaVeRLWeGsF2PEuSEIyq0QZkohWO6pIj6JHBCYAOIjE4nJYfY2RI6H5hnjT4CIIP1AQ-F_q8DDeNM_Yac/s400/DSCN0432.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660386532805062258" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYcsJQEJMY-X1bvmxWbeDwsym0kLYMe02syCrDDImUmXAwWZe2EEb_f398AXptqBJQ9tmc40j0YP-2K0-_N61-6NJWzzEORPv5zHONawscUA7xkl8YI_D_5xJgJ3g1TKAEfO6kD_qhnr81/s1600/DSCN0427.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYcsJQEJMY-X1bvmxWbeDwsym0kLYMe02syCrDDImUmXAwWZe2EEb_f398AXptqBJQ9tmc40j0YP-2K0-_N61-6NJWzzEORPv5zHONawscUA7xkl8YI_D_5xJgJ3g1TKAEfO6kD_qhnr81/s400/DSCN0427.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5660386875888102434" /></a><br />As for the kids, their favorite part was swimming at the hotel. We had to do that every night we were there. Kennedy is getting pretty good at swimming on her own, and Liam has no fear of the water either. On the last night we were there, we went to a really good Steakhouse that served rattle snake. I wanted to order it, but they were all out as luck would have it! So, I got the ribs and some sarsaparilla. The only "sad" time at the grand canyon was when Liam got his toe hit by the hotel room door. It split his toe and about ripped the toenail off. His little foot was so sore and he did not want to wear shoes. To make it worse, the EXACT same thing happened the next night and split it open again. We had to go buy liquid bandages to close it up because there were no clinics around. I have decided that I now officially suck at blogging! I remember back in the day, I would post every single day! And then, once or twice a week...and now...hardly ever! And I make promises to make posts about this and that and some super exciting thing that has happened. And then, I never do! So, I have decided to try my best to do better. Not so that anyone else can read it (cause let's face it, who really wants to read all about my life?) But for myself, so that I can look back and read this. Kind of like a very public journal of sorts! I also have decided that to catch up all at once would be extremely hard for me, and very boring for all of you. Instead, here is a list of what has been going on in our family, followed by a few pictures. Or maybe even a hundred pictures. It's my blog and I'll ruin it the way that I want to! :)<div><br /></div><div>1. We freaking drove cross country and MOVED to Houston TX! </div><div>2. Liam turned 2 yesterday! He still did not care for presents or a party, but he sure had fun at Chuck E. Cheese with my family!</div><div>3. Life has been so crazy and unpredictable and not the happiest. BUT, I plan to try and fix that. </div><div>4. Unpacking is not my favorite chore...in fact, it has been 2 weeks now and the house is still full of boxes</div><div>5. No one follows me on Twitter, and I am fine with that. haha</div><div>6. People in Texas are SO nice! Strangers always say things like "Hello, beautiful children you have" and "God bless you". It's pretty fun. Liam always says hi back!</div><div>7. I have made so many wrong moves lately, but learning from mistakes makes a person stronger...right??</div><div>8. Christian is at a job interview as I write this.</div><div>9. I am so excited for fall. Although Fall here is not what it is in Utah, it still gets cooler (like 80 degrees instead of 100) and I have fond memories of Halloween here. Plus fall is football. This is a great song and video about football. Listen if you would like! (be sure to push pause on my other music first)<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AlXDo5WhQXI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div><div>10. I am looking forward to new things, new friends and new traditions. Although I will miss Utah, and the great people there, I think I will love it here too. Plus, NO SNOW!!!</div><br />Stopping in Spanish Fork to say goodbye to Grandma K<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0347uSi5yWt-Zu7J5rVJuCpW8MgSUWEVN0gBCbfgjcPDxMBcKOVxCd4S9cJ90EL7fu8ERn_ks-8ojXVk-mWG5un5ifbRhx8TQjkQy3OyFxS17DiWt98EqnhKgpmv1Ff7oV7SU21QGbFPx/s1600/DSCN0780.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; <br />We started our vacation this year in <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Las</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">vegas</span>. I know, a great place to take a kid fresh off of his mission! We stayed at the Excalibur because we knew that it would be fun for Kennedy to stay in a real live castle! It had a fun pool with a slide too. It was great hanging out as a family, eating good food, going on roller coasters and the scary ride on top of the Stratosphere. <div>
<br /></div><div>At night, my mom was nice enough to watch the kids while my brothers and sisters and Christian and I went out on the town. We rode the roller coaster at New York New York, walked the strip and maybe did a tiny bit of gambling. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">SHHHH</span>.</div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj2lgJS7LDgzYVVj_sGpZYNrbQN723RiFkZxTJZfCNp9X2PoJtAJBsxCie9rfPVWHZUDXzsbCLaat0rDjNjHmSilKFbf6Nahv2p5kxRn0SV1KSX4r8yPVovJz5gMsif7O7RZvCFw4Uw8Jb/s1600/IMG_0862.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj2lgJS7LDgzYVVj_sGpZYNrbQN723RiFkZxTJZfCNp9X2PoJtAJBsxCie9rfPVWHZUDXzsbCLaat0rDjNjHmSilKFbf6Nahv2p5kxRn0SV1KSX4r8yPVovJz5gMsif7O7RZvCFw4Uw8Jb/s200/IMG_0862.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5644270402403370530" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9-YKqxrGedvXID7XY-wGN_kKXisUXRJGWnciL7UgkwYpub84YygMciMOS4bLs4LII-4iECvJf4we1gtzGEMWR7lxqzVF8jQyYI-h3pxTBuEUYm9qOIBvXz00hfgv-ip97J9LvrXr2qOEW/s1600/DSCN0255.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9-YKqxrGedvXID7XY-wGN_kKXisUXRJGWnciL7UgkwYpub84YygMciMOS4bLs4LII-4iECvJf4we1gtzGEMWR7lxqzVF8jQyYI-h3pxTBuEUYm9qOIBvXz00hfgv-ip97J9LvrXr2qOEW/s200/DSCN0255.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5644272426407029778" /></a>
<br /></div><div>Kennedy loved Vegas! She always said "Can we please go back to our castle now?" And all Liam wanted to do every day was "<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">sim</span>" aka swim. He is such a water baby and I love it! Being together as one big family was a lot of fun and inside jokes were common and very hilarious. After 3 days in Vegas, we were off to Lake Powell. I posted a video of our pictures below this post. I will post about Lake Powell tomorrow though.</div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZj-w7Vin_9HbGvu1EcXXZOCXw8SjswVzpzkS8kaUZjw7NrjZDG8qkdzRg4v2fjc3kq1KYIB6p9I3uiX6WPuc88gVSsCnCgNyjutnoIt_N5NxlmCwPVEYKhnxqaNyygIv105klAqx6NDYu/s1600/DSCN0271.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZj-w7Vin_9HbGvu1EcXXZOCXw8SjswVzpzkS8kaUZjw7NrjZDG8qkdzRg4v2fjc3kq1KYIB6p9I3uiX6WPuc88gVSsCnCgNyjutnoIt_N5NxlmCwPVEYKhnxqaNyygIv105klAqx6NDYu/s320/DSCN0271.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5644275623526374850" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8hdLlrYc_pNgQIa1L9QPhaJ1uWD1-67JKv-bgk2H0qOf75P5zQ5TQ5_EWwj1bL85WnyF-50qEFFUoHzeDtXJ8CAAqyJlr1keq_waSXOm_GyhoYldbpQpR7cGsiR1fOOCUk8HilSswx7Hs/s1600/DSCN0297.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8hdLlrYc_pNgQIa1L9QPhaJ1uWD1-67JKv-bgk2H0qOf75P5zQ5TQ5_EWwj1bL85WnyF-50qEFFUoHzeDtXJ8CAAqyJlr1keq_waSXOm_GyhoYldbpQpR7cGsiR1fOOCUk8HilSswx7Hs/s320/DSCN0297.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5644277126689443426" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIPN_-M3TxcqUt7CO2THnuvckAcRdkaxQ6QEPqJqmmbhAO5VWKwAMLqU6-RRiaokIE4akrehA7Qvm7nESQUxiioQTsCZ7ur24CXLotzVllhRnR5oktNmwG-qq11LnU8DfnokfajLkLd7w-/s1600/DSCN0303.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIPN_-M3TxcqUt7CO2THnuvckAcRdkaxQ6QEPqJqmmbhAO5VWKwAMLqU6-RRiaokIE4akrehA7Qvm7nESQUxiioQTsCZ7ur24CXLotzVllhRnR5oktNmwG-qq11LnU8DfnokfajLkLd7w-/s320/DSCN0303.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5644277760581498834" /></a>
<br /></div><div>Besides vacation, a lot is going on in our family. We have set a date to move to Texas on Sept. 11 if all goes well. It kind of sounds like a dooms day to move, but, we feel it will be good for our family. We will probably sell off quite a bit of our furniture before we leave, so if you are in the market for some furniture, let me know! </div><div>

We had so much fun! I will post more about our adventures in a later post. We went to Las Vegas first, then Lake Powell, and finally to the Grand canyon. It was so good to see my brother, Kyle, again after 2 years! <br /><iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/27834560?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="400" height="225" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen allowFullScreen></iframe>Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-29331698624899753832011-08-01T09:49:00.001-07:002011-08-02T11:35:41.286-07:00SummerAt least I know that 2 people read my blog! I don't blame the rest of you since it has been about 4 months since I have posted anything! Life has been really crazy for the past 4 months or so. And some of has not been a very good crazy either. As of May, I am no longer working at the day care that my friend and I started. I was going to take on all of the kids at my house, but due to some factors that I wish not to write about, I ended up only taking on 2-3 part time kids. Christian has been working at a computer company out in Tooele for about 4 months now. It is a really long commute, but at least he is making up for the money that I was making at the day care.<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizahKXvz6cExZkQciKr1vd2Kje1EzG2tAaDjH9BlLgwmkNJnhSp4oyVFC7_UK4Z_y_pCJYlReysGWe25DzDrsEBFJCg9VH7pOdiEUK3BA-wtN6J72uTaRivFcca3DYjNEtZmFAAYVECle-/s1600/DSCN0009.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizahKXvz6cExZkQciKr1vd2Kje1EzG2tAaDjH9BlLgwmkNJnhSp4oyVFC7_UK4Z_y_pCJYlReysGWe25DzDrsEBFJCg9VH7pOdiEUK3BA-wtN6J72uTaRivFcca3DYjNEtZmFAAYVECle-/s200/DSCN0009.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635936856333541234" /></a><br /></div><div>Our Summer has been pretty fun. My birthday was on July 1st (the LAST year of my 20's!) and my family happened to be in town for it. We went to the Red Iguana which was soooooo good! After dinner, I had a party with some of my good friends at my house. We made smores, danced a little, played games and did a little long boarding afterwards. The 4th of July was fun as well. We went to the parade that comes right by our house and then went to Sandy City for the carnival and fireworks. </div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXV1B-6KzWhdb-W2WvddpkvSqJhrJTU6hEMsrMIpN6NJgS_RxxPhRrtlhCgjjSlNcu4PSpJ-6azB4BWSAW5YXnGI3Yq3wRE08qOYRcAbBxRiLjGF-glYG-Hdj9DWyqJAYb3H5XrZeTHcce/s1600/DSCN0024.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXV1B-6KzWhdb-W2WvddpkvSqJhrJTU6hEMsrMIpN6NJgS_RxxPhRrtlhCgjjSlNcu4PSpJ-6azB4BWSAW5YXnGI3Yq3wRE08qOYRcAbBxRiLjGF-glYG-Hdj9DWyqJAYb3H5XrZeTHcce/s200/DSCN0024.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5636004991178785794" /></a><br /><div>The 24th was interesting because it fell on a Sunday...and since we are in Utah, it was actually celebrated on Saturday and on Monday! On Saturday, we did one of our favorite things to do for Pioneer day. We went down to my great grandma's in Spanish Fork, and walked over to the carnival by her house. It was a lot of fun (besides being like 10,000 degrees outside!) We celebrated the 24th again on Monday by going to Liberty park. The kids played in the water, went on rides, ate really greasy food and had a great time. Having an extra holiday is one of the pluses of living in Utah!</div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgrdEs6KM20ZtvrPMMOAyDmhbsvoxoju2KsJ8uVfuItADSpUo3xZNYy2FHZJ1SSDO5mwhGDUlHsA5snVBA5m1jn1qlc2o7HFAn92ltppL9NjdTxAVkD40atzE-RnGm3qz3SZ-dpEblLtFZ/s1600/DSCN0212.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgrdEs6KM20ZtvrPMMOAyDmhbsvoxoju2KsJ8uVfuItADSpUo3xZNYy2FHZJ1SSDO5mwhGDUlHsA5snVBA5m1jn1qlc2o7HFAn92ltppL9NjdTxAVkD40atzE-RnGm3qz3SZ-dpEblLtFZ/s200/DSCN0212.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5636326332398589778" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA6swiiKlZ1SNlNs3_SSkhCuSu9-739qBjNUOUUUgM3RMYLxkuN9wxZvO4NX8cnGpcFw367PahCU7JrI34YRw0SacuL5c4_1ua1lZN44Dv1PpfngJsv5gLlhuDVYzxZX1aomd49lsIDQG2/s1600/DSCN0215.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA6swiiKlZ1SNlNs3_SSkhCuSu9-739qBjNUOUUUgM3RMYLxkuN9wxZvO4NX8cnGpcFw367PahCU7JrI34YRw0SacuL5c4_1ua1lZN44Dv1PpfngJsv5gLlhuDVYzxZX1aomd49lsIDQG2/s200/DSCN0215.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5636326979932752706" /></a><br /><br /></div><div>This will be an exciting week! Today, my brother, Kyle, comes home from his 2 year mission. In 3 days, we will leave for Vegas/Lake Powell to see him and the rest of my family. I don't think I have ever been more excited for a vacation in my life! The last thing I will writ about today is that I think we may be in for some major changes soon. Christian and I have been talking and praying a lot about moving to Houston. My parents bought a new house, and we can rent their other house which would be great for us. We definitely need more room. So, the job hunt continues in Houston. Thanks to all of my friends who have been helping him to find a job. Now for some random pictures from the summer.<br /><br />Aunt Mae's 90's birthday party<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhjHhzqlQaFv1bMdde1HRoSfDWi1W0nzELp2fpEbLORU9Kd7ee0d3IHra0ntQ6a6Kg3-IzT6GGxe4nzpVyEVth1kQ5meKIju8vtUS-xl3EXdGIiKgeLMvtP_C2SV5NVz0Hhu60x1b8U_T8/s1600/DSCN0129.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 138px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhjHhzqlQaFv1bMdde1HRoSfDWi1W0nzELp2fpEbLORU9Kd7ee0d3IHra0ntQ6a6Kg3-IzT6GGxe4nzpVyEVth1kQ5meKIju8vtUS-xl3EXdGIiKgeLMvtP_C2SV5NVz0Hhu60x1b8U_T8/s200/DSCN0129.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635997589810269362" /></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8tjs679_87yZBhBWp1rwlUjZYfVO4VkxZvRwh3lolsGCi1-vLibNUrak0lSu-TiKM_v-tQ7E_GOV_43iUQPZUvQZSzLQWiTjDgeEnqQuQrxo-mEqJkMlaiofkmjZhjDFQRTlgft1QQD8C/s1600/DSCN0133.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8tjs679_87yZBhBWp1rwlUjZYfVO4VkxZvRwh3lolsGCi1-vLibNUrak0lSu-TiKM_v-tQ7E_GOV_43iUQPZUvQZSzLQWiTjDgeEnqQuQrxo-mEqJkMlaiofkmjZhjDFQRTlgft1QQD8C/s200/DSCN0133.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635999939676172274" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij-9CPZnVTC2zvEeT4DIabBb5RjvwUdVQoKOrCZHq9LmJVv_UDxcgYoNI7HxHlRlCZuY2Zu1QdHrGTVRF5Egoq1Q_WY2wINkwOPGNPyvkssdR9xKmRZKWxc6gCI4zgKmDig8fG5bH9-Zl9/s1600/DSCN0121.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 124px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij-9CPZnVTC2zvEeT4DIabBb5RjvwUdVQoKOrCZHq9LmJVv_UDxcgYoNI7HxHlRlCZuY2Zu1QdHrGTVRF5Egoq1Q_WY2wINkwOPGNPyvkssdR9xKmRZKWxc6gCI4zgKmDig8fG5bH9-Zl9/s200/DSCN0121.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5636001909900351954" /></a><br /><br />Liberty Park<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9k2qfAAiVW_A1UDNQ9EZWLLIL8LImzmjkUWChhXDNivptGWrlfKg12ARcwMtqT6HUPxP24uurCVnivURoyP8wVXE2PqrZUplMTzgrd-Xyob1PPa_C9Yx52_GQIvRz-NCKmgCE6czoRBC9/s1600/DSCN0228.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9k2qfAAiVW_A1UDNQ9EZWLLIL8LImzmjkUWChhXDNivptGWrlfKg12ARcwMtqT6HUPxP24uurCVnivURoyP8wVXE2PqrZUplMTzgrd-Xyob1PPa_C9Yx52_GQIvRz-NCKmgCE6czoRBC9/s200/DSCN0228.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5636328027065532770" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzWDwKbQYnZq63HKZigVBG5SbdU1jeKZ1aJOEdcvF0Tp19G-9cO-Nv790zUcllDW-dfHLg-zDAiPa3CJVowyXuTIrst0aNARwXhj8mAFzSghKMBvM0B30buy9BV6k-nlZ8sNGnd5w-Eob6/s1600/DSCN0229.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzWDwKbQYnZq63HKZigVBG5SbdU1jeKZ1aJOEdcvF0Tp19G-9cO-Nv790zUcllDW-dfHLg-zDAiPa3CJVowyXuTIrst0aNARwXhj8mAFzSghKMBvM0B30buy9BV6k-nlZ8sNGnd5w-Eob6/s200/DSCN0229.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5636328691682865666" /></a>Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597189061689997953.post-22720459643825954942011-07-31T23:11:00.000-07:002011-07-31T23:14:10.255-07:00Anyone out there?Okay, I know it has been FOREVER since I have posted anything. Life has thrown us a few loops lately, but I think we are on the upside right now. By the way, does anyone even read this anymore? If so, I will do a new post. If not, I will probably just let it go. What do you think?Carlihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18051960001755692999noreply@blogger.com5
