Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! I only have a few pics from tonight, because I took most of my pictures on another camera which I do not have at the moment. SAD! We did not even get a family shot because I was "the girl who wore no makeup" for Halloween, and I did not want to catch that on camera. haha! Well, at least we had a fun night. We went to our friends neighborhood to trick or treat and we are so glad that we did! Their neighborhood was FULL of kids and even haunted houses! It was so amazing! Kennedy had a great time, but was done trick or treating after about 10 houses. We had a great time! I love Halloween!

After my post yesterday, I heard the perfect song! I knew this song before and did not really like it, but now I love it because it applies to me! It is called "Say" by John Mayer. I added it to my play list if you want to hear it. I just wanted to use one verse from that song.

Frustrated!

Since I use this blog as my journal, I will not only be writing when I am happy, but also when I am mad, sad, frustrated and every emotion in between! So, without going into detail, I am very frustrated today. I have days when it feels as if NOTHING is going right and EVERYTHING is going wrong! I feel sad and helpless and most of all, FRUSTRATED! When will things start to go right? I am so happy that my mom bought me a ticket to Texas for next week because that seems like the only light at the end of my dark tunnel...and even that is not making me feel all the way better because if I am gone, I can't get everything done that needs to be done. I just hope and pray that things start to look up soon. Sorry if this was a downer for anyone, but I really needed to vent before I exploded!

Hair

So, I really waned to put up a picture of how I did Kennedy's hair for the trunk or treat. The only problem is, I have a crappy camera and they all turned out bad. This is the best I have...really! Plus these were taken after her nap so it is all messed up (like anyone really cares!) On another note, this wonderful lady is having a very cute tutu giveaway. Just thought I would let you in on the action even though I want to win it so badly! Anyway, thats all for now.

Trunk or Treat

Today, we went to 2 Trunk or Treats! It was so much fun because once Kennedy got the hang of getting candy and stuffing it in her bag, she was unstoppable! The first Trunk or treat was for our ward. We had chili and went trick or treating from car to car. At first, Kennedy was a bit apprehensive about going up to strangers for candy, but once she realized the it was candy, she was running from car to car in
search of more! The second trunk or treat was for the Lutheran church next door to us. Our neighbors invited us. It was so awesome because each car had a different theme. The themes ranged from Scooby Doo, to snow white to the North pole! They even had a little carnival with games. It was funny because we had complete strangers stop to take pictures of Kennedy! What can I say, I have a cute kid! I'll take a picture of what I did with her hair later. It was way cute!

What is with people?

I just had a really strange/bad experience at Wal Mart. I was pushing my cart down the aisle, slowly. I was behind 2 older ladies (maybe in their 40's). They did not have a cart and were just walking slowly in front of me. Then, one of the ladies stopped and said "Stop tailgating me!" I really did not think that she was talking to me since I was a good 3 feet behind her, so I just walked ahead of her. Not even 2seconds later, I was on the ground. She stepped on my flip flop and I tripped and my flip flop landed behind me. The lady looked at me and said "oops" and smiled at her friend/lover and walked off! I am not even kidding! My foot really hurt for about 10 minutes after that and I was really confused!She tripped me on purpose! I did not say anything to her and just kept shopping. What the heck? Why are people so mean???
